The 2022 Business2580 Awards are here!

The Goulburn Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce that the Business Excellence Awards are back. After the disruption of the past few years, it is wonderful to be able to celebrate businesses in Goulburn and all of their achievements.

Award nominations are now open and will close on the 15th July 2022. The Awards Celebration Dinner will be held on the Friday 5th August at the Goulburn Workers Club.

There are 15 categories to nominate/vote in including 4 Business NSW State Awards and 11 Goulburn’s Favourite Awards. Nominating and voting are a little different this year again.

The winners of these categories are determined by the number of votes they receive. The most votes wins.

These categories will be judged by independent people outside of the Chamber Committee. Judging is based on the answers submitted via the nomination form.

People’s Choice Award

There will be a People’s Choice Award! The business with the most votes overall (from every category) will be the winner of the People’s Choice.

How to vote

Voting has now closed however tickets for the dinner are still available.

All voting will close on the 15^th of July – all votes will be tallied and State awards nominations will be sent to the judges.

There is only ONE round of voting – so make sure that all votes are submitted by 15^th July.

Finalists in ‘Goulburn’s Favourites’ categories announced on 20^th July (there will be 3 finalists in each category).

Finalists in People’s Choice & the State awards announced on 28^th July.

The Excellence in Innovation, Sustainability or Social Enterprise award recognises a business (that have been in operation for more than 2 years) that have made a significant contribution to their industry through the introduction or improvement of an idea, method, technology, process or application; or where sustainability is their core business and based on sustainable initiatives and projects; or their organisations has been established or exist to further a social purpose that benefits the community.

The Start up SUPERSTAR category recognises a business that has been operating for less than 2 years that delivers a product/service/idea/invention with credible potential. This award recognises early-stage start ups that have a solid chance of market success, and strongly displays the entrepreneurial spirit.

Please note that nominees do NOT have to be a Chamber of Commerce member to be nominated.

All winners will be announced at the Celebration Dinner to be held at the Goulburn Workers Club on Friday 5 August 6pm – 10pm. Tickets to the event are $85 per person and tables of 10 are available. A three course meal will be served. Click here to book.
